Thomas Michel, born in Darmstadt in 1966, lives and works in Bamberg.
1988 - 1993 studied at FH München, receiving a diploma in Industrial Design.
Works as designer for international brands of the sports and fashion industries.
1989 discovery of hydrography, since then consistent refinement of this technique and creation of large hydrographic cycles.
Since 1994 solo exhibitions and group projects at home and abroad in the fields of painting, hydrography and design.
1996 and 1998 first performances of the cycles "Odyssey" und "Pictures at an Ausstellung" at Lichtspiel cinema Bamberg in collaboration with Kunstverein Bamberg.
