PHASIS offers copies of hydrographic pictures within various editions for young and ambitious collectors of art, with only selected materials being utilized in cooperation with professional workshops for each art object. The range comprises c-prints as limited edition, illuminated displays und heliogravures. As HYDROGRAPHIES are developed on a transparent picture carrier and are brought to life only by light, the projection suggests itself as a logical medium to boost tiny images to monumentality. Multimedial cycles are staged as performance by beamer, reverse projection, fogscreen and projection on buildings outside. Thereby the images are crossfaded and music is added, with the crossfades developing the story. By crossfading a magical light impression and spacial depth are originated. This acts on the principles of slow motion without any display of superficial effects and thus creates a deliberate contrast to the current medial sensory overload.
